Dr. Brooke Douglas
PT, DPT, Physical Therapist
I was born and raised in Overland Park, Kansas. After high school, I attended Graceland University on a soccer scholarship. I achieved a Bachelor’s degree from Graceland University in 2017 with a Major in Biology and a Minor in Health and Chemistry. I went on to Kansas University Medical Center for physical therapy school and graduated from there with my Doctorate in Physical Therapy in May 2020. I became inspired to become a physical therapist after my grandfather had a stroke. I was able to spend the summer with him in Florida watching him go through physical therapy and I saw firsthand how much physical therapy can help change someone’s life. I have worked at Hill Pro Motion for 2 and a half years. I started at the SW Market street location and recently moved to the Lakewood location when it opened up.
The core values that drive me in life are to be hardworking, caring, driven, respectful, compassionate, and honest.
“Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance, you must keep moving.”
-Albert Einstein
I treat patients on a daily basis with various conditions consisting of shoulder, hip, lower back, knee, neck, and ankle pain. I would like to help patients that have daily pain and restrictions that affect their life and activities that they enjoy and I enjoy the challenge of seeing a wide variety of conditions.
I enjoy coming to work every day at Hill Pro-Motion and that is mainly due to everyone I work with. We treat each other like family and genuinely care about the other’s lives.
