OVERVIEW

Femoral Neck Fracture

Trauma from a fall to the hip or blow to the head can cause the fracture of the thigh bone, which is usually located around the femoral neck. The joint can slowly wear down if the fractured bone doesn’t heal properly. The blood flow to the femoral head might be cut off or restricted, leading to necrosis.
