Accessibility Statement
Our commitment to making this site usable for everyone, and how to reach us if something isn’t working for you.
Our commitment
Hill Pro-Motion Physical Therapy is committed to making this website usable by everyone, including people who use assistive technology such as screen readers, voice control, or keyboard-only navigation. We want every visitor to be able to learn about our clinic, find a location, and request an appointment without running into a barrier.
Conformance target
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, the widely adopted standard for web accessibility. This target guides both the design and the code of this site.
Measures we’ve taken
This site was built and reviewed with accessibility as a requirement, not an afterthought. That includes, among other things:
- A skip-to-content link, visible keyboard focus indicators, and a logical tab order on every page
- Semantic HTML landmarks, headings, and native form labels throughout, rather than generic clickable divs or placeholder-only fields
- Descriptive alternative text on meaningful images, and decorative images and icons hidden from assistive technology
- Support for
prefers-reduced-motion, so anyone sensitive to motion sees the same content without animation - Color combinations checked against WCAG contrast requirements, with adjustments made where they fell short
- Keyboard-operable forms, menus, and interactive components, including our booking form from start to finish
Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We review this site periodically and whenever we add new content or features, and we correct issues as we find them.
Known limitations
Despite our best efforts, some parts of this site rely on technology we don’t fully control:
- The Google Maps directions embeds on our location section are provided directly by Google. We’ve given each map a descriptive title, but we can’t modify Google’s own interface.
- Our patient reviews are displayed through a third-party widget (Elfsight). We’ve built an accessible fallback around it, but its internal interface is maintained by that vendor, not by us.
If you run into a barrier anywhere on this site, including in one of these embedded tools, please contact us using the information below and we’ll help you get what you need another way.
Our new patient forms PDF
Our downloadable new patient paperwork is provided as a PDF for convenience. If you use assistive technology and have trouble with this document, call or email us and we’ll complete it with you over the phone or send it in a format that works for you.
Feedback
If you have trouble accessing any part of this website, or have feedback on how we can improve, please reach out. We aim to respond within 5 business days.
