Dr. Hannah Bowers

PT, DPT, Physical Therapist

I grew up in western Kansas, in a small town called Stockton. I went to Kansas State University where I received my Bachelors of Science in Athletic Training. I then went to Baylor where I received my Doctorate of Physical Therapy. During my time at K-State I worked with a diverse population of athletes and patients that helped me grow my love of helping people work towards their rehabilitative goals. Following graduating from Kansas State University I obtained my Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Baylor University. While at Baylor I studied under physical therapists that are certified in Neurodevelopment Treatment, Aquatic Therapy, and Manual Therapy. While in school I received a certificate for dry needling. I had the unique opportunity to study in pediatric and acute care settings as well as was our very own student at Hill Pro-Motion Physical Therapy.

In my life I strive to help others. In helping others I feel that I am able to give back to the people and community that have helped me get to where I am at today.

“Be a rainbow in someone else’s could.”

I thoroughly enjoy working with children. While at Baylor I studied under physical therapists that are certified in Neurodevelopment Treatment and Aquatic Therapy that work specifically with children. It is a passion of mine to help children and their families reach their goals. As a physical therapist I have the unique opportunity to see what is most important to a patient. We get to determine what is limiting a patient from participating in important activities in their lives and formulate a plan to help them get back to what they love doing.

I enjoy treating patients that have life long neurodiverse conditions. The focus is helping patients maintain and progress independent function while also working with their family members to help promote as much independence as possible.

I enjoy Hill Pro-Motion for the culture. The Culture we have created is a fun environment. Our clients make our days fun and make coming to work enjoyable.

What’s Hannah Reading, Listening To, or Watching?

  • Up (Movie)
  • Alaska the Last Frontier (TV Show)
  • Any Nicholas Sparks Books

I enjoy spending time with my husband and black lab Trooper. We seem to always be working on our next house project or find ourselves out exploring nature.

“Hill Pro-Motion has it all. As a patient, and a 40-year healthcare (Information Technology) career, I have rarely experienced such a competent staff, combined with excellent bedside manner. As a recently retired person, Hill Pro-Motion helped me solve age related injuries (elbows/arms) that stood between me maintaining our land (9 acres) and continuing to play Ice Hockey. At 65, I’m a long way from giving up either, thanks to the Hill Pro-Motion team. Special thanks to Hannah and Darren. Hannah customized care to heal, strengthen and prevent future injuries. Darren’s brought another level with his strong PT knowledge AND his athletic background (including hockey). His approach helped me return to the ice concurrent with my PT sessions. So, if you’re an athlete who wants back in the game ASAP, balanced with strength/healing, Pro-Motion is your place. Thanks team!”

“I loved working with Dr. Hannah! She is truly the world’s best listener and would create that day’s therapy based on what I said – not just whatever she had in her notes! That’s a big deal – typically you get to PT and they have you do the same thing over and over and barely listen. Hannah LISTENED so well and then customized each day for that area of pain or concern. You can just tell how passionate she is about helping her patients and I am beyond grateful to have had her help after my surgery.”

“Hannah was fabulous with my son. It’s clear she has a passion for children with disabilities. Excited my son is working with her!”
